Middlezoy Arts Festival 2014
The sun shone, the atmosphere was wonderful, all concerts were sold out, and the standard of art work was impressively high. We are all very proud of our first attempt at producing a festival of this breadth and quality.
The opening concert by the talented Celeste was incredibly beautiful and memorable. The girls performed to us in between performances supporting Katherine Jenkin's current tour.
Our closing concert with Gabrielle Ducomble was of outstanding quality and had all 110 guests up for a standing ovation. This was the final night of Gabrielle's tour and we were listed alongside her other venues including Ronnie Scott's bar and St Ives Jazz Club. Yes, it really did happen in Middlezoy!
Our Cabaret evening was a great success and the Rivertones outdoor performance at The George was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The village theatre was incredibly funny and well produced, and our inventive garden art entries raised many a smile!
